Ilhaam’s ‘New’ Newsletter
The team at Ilhaam are delighted to announce that we will be launching a new newsletter in the near future!
As always, our aim is to promote and share existing activities, and to encourage other people to become more active in doing good in their communities.
Newsletter – Aims
The newsletter will follow the aims and objectives of Ilhaam i.e. to get people to become actively and positively engaged in the communities that we live in.
This is also one way that we can begin to breakdown some of the negative stereotypes associated with Muslims and Islam today.
The primary aims, of the newsletter, are to promote groups and/or individuals to;
- being more active e.g. helping neighbours
- Doing good e.g. feeding the hungry
- Being beneficial to OUR communities e.g. supporting the elderly, visiting the sick
Why are we doing this?
We have been granted full permission and authority by Shaykh Muhammad Adil Ar-Rabbani to collate, share and promote activities by the Muslim community.
Our newsletter will help us to grow our network. It will enable a forum for us to ‘meet’ people from towns and cities across the country. This will allow relationships to be built with like-minded people and enable learning, sharing and requesting / giving help and support when needed. We want to see more and more Muslims being active in our communities!
When will you see Rida?
At the moment we don’t have a definitive date for our first edition. We will let you know when we are ready for the big day – watch this space!
Rida will be published quarterly and, depending upon demand, may move to being monthly.
How can you get involved?
It’s easy to get involved. If you have an upcoming event / workshop / activity (or have already had one) all you have to do is fill in the details on our online form.
Event details ought to include;
- Summary (max 300 words)
- 1 image
- Your contact details
- Links to your social media
Register your interest
Whilst we’re busily working in the background why not register your interest in our newsletter? That way you’ll hear about updates and be the first to get access to Rida when it is eventually published! (We promise to never share your data with any other organisation).
