Ilhaam Winter 2018 Donation

With all the generous donations made by fellow Muslims in Rotherham we have made a second successful food donation to hungry .families and individuals in Mexborough.

Feed the hungry winter 2018 campaign

The team at Ilhaam started a second campaign to collect much needed food to support Mexborough Foodbank. Following on from the successful first campaign the Muslim community rallied round to collect food donations.
It was great to see so many people show compassion and caring, for neighbouring communities in Rotherham, and want to get involved again in this second campaign.

I would like to personally thank the Ilhaam team and Abdul for another very generous food donation – enough to feed at least 30 families

Rotherham Mosques step up again

There were many mosques that joined this second campaign. However, a BIG thank you has to go out to Jamia Masjid Abu Bakr, Russell Street, Eastwood. The worshippers and residents of Eastwood made another big contribution which will be appreciated by many folk in Mexborough.

Food Aware

Making the donation at Mexborough Foodbank was Abdul Ghani, Director at Ilhaam. ‘I always enjoy meeting with Sean and his team. They’re a terrific bunch and work hard to help those in need’.
